The major in International Business gives students an opportunity to focus and understand how business is conducted on a global scale, and how it is different from a domestic enterprise. Understanding the dynamics of international business gives the students an insight into key driving forces, which change the world. Global trade shapes and moulds the policies of nations and living standards of people in every continent and has thus become a major issue in our times.

Objectives
|
- Develop strong business acumen in the students through the
various courses in the major.
- Develop an understanding and critically review the application of
contemporary global concepts in local business situations.
- Enhance students practical knowledge through field trips and
internship experience in the local and foreign business
organizations.
- Prepare and encourage students to undertake an independent
research study on the specific business problems encountered in
the UAE.
- Encourage life long learning that meets the dynamic needs of the industry.

Duration
|
- Total credits required for graduation – 120
- The 4 year – 8 semester degree program can be accelerated by taking summer semesters.
- Morning class – 0930 to 13:00 Hrs, Evening class – 1900 to 2200 Hrs
|
|
Recognition
|
At the end of duration of the program, students are awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration degree mentioning their area of specialization. Degrees are recognized and stamped by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAE
|
|

There are three admission intakes for the BBA program namely July, September and January each year
