(Q) What are the Bachelors Degree programs offered at Skyline University College?
(A) Bachelor of Business Administration degree in four majors:
- International Business
- Information Systems
- Marketing
- Travel & Tourism Management
(Q) What is the system of academic calendar i.e. how many semesters are conducted in a year and during what months?
(A) The regular academic calendar consists of Fall Semester, Spring Semester, Summer 1 and Summer 2. Fall and Spring Semesters are taken by all students whereas the students need to check with the administration department whether they have summer semester in their schedule or not.
(Q) What are the total number of credit hours I need to complete for Getting a BBA Degree?
(A) 120 credit hours
(Q) What is the total duration of the BBA program?
(A) It’s a four year program
(Q) Is it possible to finish my Bachelor’s degree in three years?
(A) Yes the BBA program can be finished in three years by taking summer semester provided the students maintains the required grade point average of 2.5 on a scale of 4, in first three semesters
(Q) Does Skyline Has any kind of application oriented activities integrated in Degree curriculum?
(A) Yes the curriculum includes, presentations, research assignments, group discussions etc kind of activities which are all graded.
(Q) Does a bachelors degree student need to go for any kind of practical training/internships?
(A) Yes, every student has to complete an internship program of 6-8 weeks in their area of majors before the graduation and the internship is a graded module.

(A) Skyline University College offers American Curriculum Based programs and all our Programs are approved and accredited by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAE.

Applications and Admissions Related
(Q) What are the admission requirements for BBA program?
- An accredited high school certificate with 60% marks of UAE Education Board or equivalent. Please check with our admission counselors for specific grade requirements of other countries Boards.
- TOEFL score of 500 or IELTS Score of 5.0 or equivalent

(Q)I have got good grades in my high school; do I need to take TOEFL/IELTS and mathematics placement test?
(A)Yes.
(Q)If I don’t get a TOEFL score of 500 or IELTS score of 5.0, can I still join the University College?
(A)You can not join the Bachelors degree program in the absense of TOEFL/IELTS.
However, the student can be admitted to our Basic or Advanced IELTS preparatory program based on his/her current TOEFL/IELTS.
(Q)What is the passing mark of university’s mathematics placement test?
(A)60% or a SAT score of 500.
(Q)If I fail in the mathematics Placement test but have the required scores of TOEFL/IELTS what do I study in University?
(A) You will be admitted to the main program. However, you will not be allowed to take a few subjects requiring mathematical proficiency, in the first semester and instead will take a Numeracy crash course. (Q)Does a Bachelor’s degree student need to go for any kind of practical training/internships?
(A) Yes, every student has to complete an internship program of 6-8 weeks in their area of majors before the graduation and the internship is a graded module.
(Q)Do you have a placement cell?
(A) Yes, our dedicated placement cell assists the current and graduate students in finding suitable part time/full time placements.
(Q)Does the placement cell help students with Job Hunt techniques?
(A) Yes, the placement cell conducts professional development workshops where students are trained in various job hunt techniques like CV writing, Interview skills etc.
(Q)Does the university conducts campus Interviews?
(A) Campus interviews are arranged by the placement Cell with renowned local companies and MNCs in region.
Student Services
(Q). What kind of students services support are available for skyline students?
(A) The Skyline University College has well established Education and Student Support
Services (ESSS) which aims to provide an environment that is conducive to
learning process and to enhance the knowledgebase of its members.
The ESSS Dept has three functional units namely: a) Learning Support Services; b)
Instructional Support Services; c) Information Technology Resources and Systems.
(Q). Are there any attendance requirements for Skyline BBA students?
(A) Yes. Attendance is mandatory in all classes held during the conduct of a course.
Absence from class (es) prevents a student from getting full benefit of a course. It
can result in lower grades due to missed assignments, quizzes, exercises and
examinations.
The minimum attendance required for a student to be allowed for the final
examination in a course is 75% of the total credit hours allocated for a course.
Financial Information
(Q) What is the total fee of Bachelors degree program?

(Q) Can we pay the fee in installments?
(A) Yes, Non Visa students can pay in monthly installments whereas visa students can pay in three installments per year.
(Q) Can I pay my fees by Credit Card?
(A) Yes

Visa and Accommodation
(Q) Does the University provide student Visa?
(A) Yes. The University College can sponsor a three years extendable visa to the students seeking visa assistance.
(Q) Does the university provide Hostel facilities?
(A) Yes. Fully furnished Hostel facility is available on a twin sharing and individual room basis.
Transport
(Q) Does the University provide Transport Facility?
(A) Yes, currently the transport is provided in Air conditioned buses from Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman and might be extended to Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah from AY 2010-11.
